gusle

It’s really sweet of you to check… however, don’t worry as this is totally normal, unfortunately. A few bombastic statements and maybe a few burnt cars… In AD 8, at the time of Emperor Tiberius and when Jesus was a teenager, 😂, the Illyrians finally lost their independence and became incorporated in the Roman Empire after 200 years of wars and skirmishes. Ever since, the Balkans has been a playground for the big Eastern and Western boys although this, of course, doesn’t prevent us from singing very heroic songs (telling tales of legendary battles which no one ever loses because of weakness but because of treachery) on the Gusle (Serb) or Lahutë (Alb), which is basically the same instrument with one string! So the fact that Djoković is writing silly things is not surprising because he has Gusle in his head and this is expected of him. Otherwise he’ll be declared a traitor and a song will be sung on the Gusle by a singer-hero drunk on rakija.. no biggy. The bottom line is that the Serbs will do exactly what the Russians tell them to do and Albanians will do exactly what the Americans will tell them… (a bit like England) 😂😂 so all is fine although it is not fine really.. but where IS fine? You tell me… now I will play some heroic music with Lahutë and drink the last bit of raki I have. Love Balkans as mad as it is. Drama (δράμα), after all, was invented in the Balkans. We have 3000 years of performing experience in Drama Premiership League! 😂😂Gëzuar, Živeli… xx

(Kukaj Djoko, kukala ti strina dabogda, kad nemaš pametnija posla) 😂

PS Just to be difficult, ‘our’ heroic songs on the Lahutë/Gusle have a 12 syllable verse whilst the Serbs have a 10 syllable Vers. (Syllabically, We are still closer to the Greeks than to our neighbours, it seems, even after 2500+ yrs. Shocking. 😂
