Travel should be made obligatory by law
I am so lucky to have seen so many places. If art is air, music is water then travel is food. Seeing places nurtures us like no university, PhD or book... seeing how people do things like we've never imagined is priceless.

petrova gora, croatia
Petrova Gora Monument is a typical symbol of the effect of IMF cunts who want to destroy everything that was not built for profit and isn’t subjected to cruel ‘market forces that should resolve all ills’ but, in reality, create a parysitic system so that the 1% can have it all. This was built as a multi purpose centre to educate and entertain, all for free, of course but visitors wouid pay a veru small amount.. it’s a place we’d go on school trips but as this is quite far from Kosovo we went to similar places closer to home… then War and Capitalism came and everything that wasn’t privatised was left to rot. It’s both sad and infuriating to see a buildung with much better insulation and cladding than most cheaply built boxes in london is in this state. #CapitalismKills #LetsEndIt
zagreb
I’ve always loved #Zagreb but especially this time… i have a long history with the city since I was an 18 yr old soldier in 1997/8. Each time I came back since emigrating to the UK, I think I came as a Londoner. Not this time… I came deeply disaponyed with UK, where i feek a stranger despite living there longer than anywhere else! It’s a very strange feeling but can’t help how I feel. In Zagreb I felt at home, reconnected with my past, even as an Albanian. I wasn’t expecting this.. Time to pack my bags, I think, and return to the Bakkans, which I never quite left.
