Most Americans appear t think America is great but I think this is a great show put on for themselves and the world.
Deep down, Americans are very much away how fucked up it all is but the thought of abandoning belief that they live in the greatest country that ever existed is simply too frightening. They’d be left with guns and medical bills. Not much else really.
The rest of the world watches in disbelief and amazement this bizarre show of self delusion. They do self delusion much more seriously than the Brits, who sit comfortably in the second place at the world championship of grand delusions.
