Chimamanda is one of the most inspiring people of our time. She gave a great lecture on R4 this morning that was music to ears and soul. Her language is superb but not overwrought or haughty.., she is able to put the dilemmas and neuroses gripping the world that finds itself in relentless cyber psychodramas of accusations and counter accusations, mostly by people with very strong opinions but very little facts.
Although it is so easy to be very angry these days, Ngozie Adichie manages to stay calm and non-judgemental even about people she profoundly disagrees with. I wish I had her skill.
I can’t stop shooting at the world that ha# become very stupid.
