The Tories are desperate and face total oblivion. Eradication from memory but they will not stop at anything. In their dying days, they are now clinging on to the committed liar without an ounce of moral fibre to save them. You’d have to see it to believe it.
As painful and soul destroying this will be for the vast majority of the population, I am certain this will be their final blow that will destroy them. Johnson has neither capacity nor desire to resolve anything as long as he is in the centre of it. He only relies in his buffoonery to sail him through the mud. The Tories know this and play along with it but not all… there are Tories who are horrified at the prospect of returning to swine politics; to his shameless lies and claims to glory without merit; a return to corruption and backhanding and will try to stop him but the populist is relying on the basic instincts of the Tory membership who are likely to choose him! The UK has become a prisoner of a proportion of Tory members, who either don’t care about the shameful record of their chosen boy or they simply don’t understand the effects of immoral politicians such as Johnson and Rees-Mogg. It’s mind boggling how they can’t see that Johnson will bury them. Fantasy politics is the current mode dragging UK into muddy waters while the world laughs.
Adam Curtis’ interview in Joe explains brilliantly how we are doomed as kong as we keep going back to the same systems that failed, The Tories are the epitome of anachronistic views and solutions but Labour so not much better, We simply need to change everything… get rid of this rotten two party system that is steering us towards a dangerous precipice. I am still optimistic we can do this but optimism is running thin day by day. This cannot go on for much longer.
