There is something very strange going on in UK politics! After six years of vicious divisions that have appeared in all seams of British life, there appears to be a strange consensus that we are now moving on to a new quieter period… with Pretty Rishi saying all the right things to the markers and Starmer faithfully following, totally inept or scared to show any conviction… unless it is Brexit, UK jobs, patriotic marching, etc.. it’s so depressing to have this man as the leader of opposition… Labour Party is now so Brexity, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Tories are the ones who will try to undo it or dilute it. They are shapeshifters above anything… stay8ng in power is their obsession and sole reason.
There simply is no alternative… they are al, versions of Farage’s bubble now. It makes you cry and scream but then you think: what for?
I am amazed how the average Brit takes all this in their stride.. There is no spirit of revolt here, only obsessing about house prices, reality shows and state of public transport.. well, probably not even that as the people are being constantly told that ‘hard times lie ahead’… which will convince them that it’s only logical that trains will have to suffer in a ti,e of doom.
