You would not believe you are in the UK! I don’t know whether I want to cry or scream! We seem to be sinking by the minute in a whirlpool of high drama in SW1. I don’t think this kind of upheaval has been seen since the events leading to the beheading of Charles 1st!
Jeremy Hunt sounded like EmperorTiberius reading the eulogy to Emperor Augustus, except he spoke about UK and he is no emperor.
liz Truss is nowhere to be seen, probably having realised her position is untenable. She looks like someone who shouted ‘I’m a doctor’ but it soon became clear she’d only taken a GCSC in biology. I can’t stop feeling sorry for her in a very strange way… like you’d feel for a teenager who terrorised the whole neighbourhood because they believed they were superhuman after having their first spliff.
The media are exploding with speculation… it all is so very bizarre and very sad. No one can predict anything anymore. This is what Brexit did to the United Kingdom. The Tories will have this shame on them for eternity.
