We now have Cofetti terrorist disrupting posh Tory weddings of the person who is partially responsible for the shit we're in. Never mind the reason they're protesting. Never mind highest temperatures on record occurred in four consecutive days... it is the protesters we dob't like; especially if it is a fairytale quintessentially English wedding in an idyllic English village where nothing matters more than fairytales!
If you follow the (right wing) media in the UK today, you may get the impression we are under attack of confetti terrorists, who will stop at nothing until they dismantle our society! You cannot get more perverse than this but c'est ca! People just love being constantly outraged about other people! Why? Probably because it's easier that asking questions and seeking questioning their own role in the bigger picture. Obviously, there are many more reasons why people choose anger over sober debate but this is much pronounced in the UK than anywhere else, where protesters of all kinds are relentlessly vilified as tree huggers, wokes, traitors, etc... it is both frustrating and depressing but things aren't likely to change any time soon..
I wonder what the next national emergency be - cork shooting at church spires? who knows!
