Is the 40 years old false narrative, drummed into British heads, that the Tories are more competent to run the economy finally crashing on its muddy face? All indicators point to this conclusion but people are fickle, alas! That Tories a the cancer which has been destroying the nervous system of this country for 40 odd years is clear to anyone who knows the basics of their ideology but what they are good at is bribing people with little tricks that make them feel they are getting something, while, in fact, they are being robbed in so many other ways, the most important deprivation being people’s decency. 

Nowhere else in Europe you see such blatant selfishness masked as personal success. Nowhere else in Europe you see this mentality of constant struggle to push people in front of other people not even being aware of doing it. This is the ingenuity that made nastiness acceptable. Most people are good. .They’re only following the British Dream that has been washing their brains for too long. But we are not Europe. Apparently. 

The Tories are toast. Brexit is Toast. I hope Starmer will know what to do but I do have reservations.
