As you see California burning, it is not possible not to think that this may somehow be cosmic retribution for America's role in supporting war crimes and genocide in Gaza? Finding sympathy for privileged people whose houses will be rebuilt by insurance companies is not forthcoming.... RIP to those who lost their lives, however! A lost life is a lost life, regardless of who it is... as for the materiel damage, America deserves much more as a way to cleanse its soul!
