There is no doubt that Jewish People have suffered the longest period of suffering in the hands of civilised Christians who believe in love, forgiveness and loving one’s enemy. It culminated with the most horrendous and unimaginable episode in history that played out in Belsen, Auschwitz, Teresienstadt, etc…. However, Diane Abbot does have a point when she says there is a difference in the way Black and other non-White people have experienced and continue to experience racist discrimination.
