As I predicted yesterday, the 50p Boadicea fell today. I have her 24 hrs but i should have said 12! The whole thing is like an alternative reality… I don’t think there is a word for total loss of decency, competency, loyalty, truth, etc for the sake of a very narrow ideological corner where a party wants to push the entire country in full knowledge this will be physically impossible, without even considering the social, economic side effects of such an obsession..
The Tories know they are lost, confused and divided as never before. As is the country. The entire structure of the state seems like precarious scaffolding about to fall any time.
The lunacy of the Tories is in full swing now. Knowing they will be wiped out in the general election, they are calling for the great Swine p, whom they removed only three months ago, to return as a false messiah, not even for once thinking of the reasons why he was ousted. This is the state of post Brexit British politics - neither truth nor duty matter more than an deranged desire to beat the other side, who are described on all kind of new language such as ‘tofu eating guardian reading taxi taking wokerati from North London!
As their nazionalfantasy crumbles before their eyes, the more vicious they get.. it’s like watching King Lear, Macbeth and Richard 2nd all in one. The bile has reached the ceiling and it may drown us all. I have no idea how can we start being nicer to each other.
